I pulled apart my drivers side mirror to fix the bracket, and ended up popping off the actual mirror although I didn't need to. I put it all back together, just snapped it back in but now it won't adjust from right to left, but up and down work fine. Any ideas how to fix this?

Either the motor is bad or the switch is bad...

I don't think so, because the mirror moves freely from side to side, doesn't grind or feel like its even attatched to the motor.

There are 2 motors in there - one for left/right & one for up/down.

it is very hard to describe in sentence form but this same thing happened to me when i took my car through an automated car wash and my drivers side mirror would just flop around like it wasnt attached to anything (oh yeah i was pissed until i looked at it further). there is a small clip that you have to push back into the mirror and the mirror shroud as they meet together. you wont be able to see it as u are putting the mirror on but you will feel when it snaps back into place. but dont put too much pressure as to break it. you will no when its in. but like i said it is hard to describe on the computer. but it is easily fixable just gonna take some patience.
