Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Located this underneath my center console. Possibly from the manufacturer? A part of my nitrous system? I opened it up, only to find nothing inside of it.

well, it may not be a light, but it connects to the ashtray, and there is a small hole in the ashtray to where that slit opening is attached to

10-4, definatly the ashtray light. Pull the cover off of it and it will become very obvious that your bulb is burned out or missing.

Well, I'm glad I got that sorted out. I replaced my ashtray (I don't smoke) with nitrous switch controls, so I guess this ashtray light is irrelevant. Thanks for all the input guys!

Yea, the black part is the socket. If you don't have the light installed, you'll want to make sure the bulb is out. (It gets really really hot.)
