quick question? the ither day in the bottom left hand part the the instrument cluster a light came on and it says abs inop. What does that mean i dont have a manual so i cant look in there. does it mean my abs is inoperable?

ok thanx. i just had sum work done to my car so i figured mayb they had forgot to hook my censor back up but also my battery is about shot so that could also be the reason.
