Window motor is not making the windows do stuff.
My window is busted. When I hit the switch, the motor makes noise. The window doesn't move. When you push down, it makes a junky popping noise. Give me some ideas for what to look for.

Does your window move up/down with you pushing/pulling on it?
It's off track.
The motor has fallen loose and the teeth have fallen off the gear.
That's my best guess.
My theory:
Your window motor was replaced at some point and used bolt/nut combo instead of a rivet. While this is not a problem, if you don't put Loc-tite on the threads and have them locked good, they will vibrate loose over time. This means that the bolt will come out, your window motor will come loose and fall out of the track. Get in there and check things out.
