Default 2000 WS6 Service manual PN #'s

Anyone know where I can find the part numbers for OEM service manuals/wiring diagrams for a 200 WS6? And can I get them through GMpartdirect or do I gotta take the hit and shell out full retail at a dealer?

Thanks in advance.

Also, if anyone hsa a WS6 and wouldn't mind taking out 1 of the bolts that holds in your black honeycomb hoodgrille insert and get me a picture so i know what the OEM bolt looks like/how long it is so I know which ones to buy, i'd greatly apprecaite it.

You need a service manual.I doubt if new ones are still available but they are a three volumn set and would be very costly. You can buy used ( Ebay or F-body forumns in the classified) and all diagrams are in there. There is no special book or pages for WS6- same as T/A.
Or you can buy it on DVD which is good if you have a good monitor and printer(again Ebay). If you need a specific circuit I might be able to copy the page and send it-what do you need?

You can still get new ones from Helm: http://helm.com/index.html They publish all of the service manuals for most GM cars. Like lovin myls1 pointed out, you just need the 3 book 2000 F-Body set. (It covers all V6 and V8 models.)

That being said, getting them from Helm is expensive. eBay is by far the best deal. Dealers all get a set and often never even crack the pages. So, you can very often find new sets on sale as folks clear out their libraries. (With Pontiac going away, you may see a lot of this now.)

i know its nto WS6 specific. Sorry about the confusion. I just refer to my car as a WS6 instead of a t/a since it is.

That IS what i'm looking for though. that 3 book set.
that includes the trans manual too, correct?
If it covers all models, is it just year specific and only comes as a package? or can i get exclusively the formula/t/a version?

Can you give me the GM part numbers on these? or is it only available from helm now? IS this a part i can go get at the dealer?

Thanks for your help guys.

No, the three book set does not have the trans manual. If you have a manual and expect to tear your T56 apart, you can get the trans manual here: http://www.ttcautomotive.com/English...-0610-0199.pdf

BTW - Here's the link for new 2000 manuals from GM's publisher: http://www.helminc.com/helm/product2...E4J3X4CLNT0WQ2
