Default Random Misfire

My friend has a random misfire between 4300 and 5800. It happens at random times and sometimes doesn't happen he does not know where to start looking does anyone know of such a wierd occurence its a 2000 LS1 Camaro with under 60k on the clock

No it is not throwing a random misfire code, that is what has us baffle it just breaks up it not a full misfire just bad break up

Stock car?

I would look at plugs, plug gap, plug wires not seated all the way 1st.

Mostly stock headers and throttle body lid 3600 stall trans work no known internal motor work

This is good advice. Most random misfires are plug or wire related.

I'm having this issue as well. The plugs are all gapped the same, but i put new wires on as well.. I'll go make sure they're on all the way.
