Default Could anyone tell me what the name of this part is???

It connects from the egr sensor to the top-front of the intake manifold with a metal tube that runs down in between the throttle body and the intake manifold, but the metal tube was cut off and seems to be giving me problems with acceleration. Any ideas on what this part is called?? Thanks!

Sorry for the poor quality pics---taken with the cell phone...

That is just the EGR Tube. You are more than likely going to have to replace that entire tube all the way from the EGR sensor to that port in the intake.

Is it cut somewhere that the pic doesn't show? If you talking about where it goes down into the intake then that is not your problem and nothing to worry about. Cutting down the tube so it doesn't protrude too far into the intake is one of the free mods.

Default egr tube

You said it's giving you problems, what kind of problems ?

I was thinking about doing this free mod.

Anyone else have problems after doing this ?

What i was getting at in my last post is that this probably isn't the source of his problems.
