Default NEW A/C Compressor

Guys...question

I recently had a local shop install a new delco compressor along with the orfice, accumalator and lower hose.

It's been about 2 months no problems, but 2 days ago I found green oil on my garage floor, when I lifted the car the lower hose on the compressor has the drip.

Cant tell if where it's coming from

They wont take a look at my car till Monday, what could it be?

Usually those lower hoses, which is actually one long *** hose that goes from the very top to the very bottom.......leaks from the metal coupler where metal meets rubber. If its a really slow leak, leak stop should fix it. I'm going on 1 month and not a drop has come out after putting in leak stopper.

But if they replaced the hose with a new one, it must be covered, so they should have to replace it.

I looked found the bolt that holds it and I gave it another good 3/4 turn. Hopefully it was just a little loose, what sucks is that it's been 2 months and no leak. And now out of no where a leak, you would think if it was going to leak it would happen within a few days.

Oh well, I'm going to check it tomorrow and see if it stopped and then take it in Monday. At which point I need to suggest a thorough check and or stop leak. We'll see thanks!

What bolt? The end that attaches to the condensor?

Tale a picture if you can.

That lower hose has 3 bolts. One that attaches to the top canister (evaporator) then it snakes down to the back of the compressor and has a bolt, then it goes to the condensor and bolts to it at the passengers side bottom corner.

it appears the leak was coming from the bolt in the rear of the compressor. So i tightened that bolt. 13mm.

The rest of the line looks fine.
