Exclamation Need help asap!

Ok guys I do not have any brake lights or turn signals, when I unplug the third brake light i then have no tail lights, if i plug it back in then the tail lights are dim but still no brake lights or turn signals, need help.

Yes, I checked all of them under the hood and in the car, would it have anything to do with the flasher thing under the steering colum.

I found in one TA that is was the blinker control switch in the column. It seems to control everything. Sounds like a short in there. Move your steering column tilt up and down with a buddy behind the car and see if you can get them on.

if your front blinkers work then its not the turn signal flasher...it seems to me you have a ground issue.
if you check in your rear hatch, if you pull out part of the carpet in the bottom area around the locking mechanism in the hatch, on the driver side, just next to the mechanism is the ground for the rear lights, check that to make sure its grounded.

OK guys I got the problem fixed it was the ground wire in the trunk under the carpet by the trunk lock, so thanx alot for the help.
