Default New Power Steering Pump?

Would a new power steering pump solve my hard steering issue? Steering the car while parking is very very hard. And on the road, it's just takes more effort to steer. Would a worn Power Steering Pump cause stiff steering? Maybe it's not pumping enough fluid.

I flushed the system with new fluid and bled it. It didn't help much. Thanks.

Could be a pump, gear, or restricted line. Its tough to find a p/s problem without a p/s analyzer that allows you to see the actual pressure that the pump is putting out. Do you get any assist at all or is it just diminished?

I do get assist. I know the pump is working. When I turn from end to end, you can hear it make that hissing sound. Is it suppose to be quiet?

It should be silent. Your pump is probably worn out, but still works some. As long as you know the system was flushed well and there's no obstructions.
