Default Hard to turn on high-beams. Have to pull the stick back hard!

Basically what the title says, I have problems getting the brights to come on (my Z has been garaged for about 3 years now with little to no night driving, so I haven't noticed it really).

To get them to come on I have to pull back on the blinker/light stick (whats it even called lol) pretty good before it 'clicks'.

Whats the fix guys?

Lay with your back on the floor and look up under the dash. On the bottom of the steering column will be a plastic switch on a rail, with a small diameter steel rod linking back to the stick that you are pulling back on.

This plastic switch is for your hi-beams, and its placement can be adjusted pretty easily. You just need to move it towards the front of the car a few millimeters, and then tighten it down well.

As you can tell, I may or may not have experienced the same problem right after I bought my toy last year.

No problem. Good luck with it.

If you just need to get them working quickly to pass inspection, try moving your tilt all the way up. This makes the switch engage a little sooner when pulling on the stick.
