Default i'm flushing my complete a/c system and installing a new compressor and

drier and orfice tube. i need to know how much oil and 134a goes back in?

read the directions that come with the parts....they will specify the amounts needed

Put a 3 oz can of oil only in it, then 2 cans of 134 that also has oil in it. Your compressor should kick on after the first can goes in and it should be cold. If it doesn't start putting the second can in. Then you should be real cold when half of the second can is gone. Vacuum the system down if you feel like it, not totally necassary though.

I would get the tall bottle of 134 (interdynamics brand) with oil in it with the "lever" on it. You can spray however much you want in there and you can save the unused portion for later. If it gets real cold after 1 1/2 cans, stop and save it.
