Take a picture of the lock and post it here.

I might be able to show you how to unlock it without damaging it at all, then you can just put it back on later.

This works on almost any type of shakle lock. Combination lockas and key locks.

Who is nicor?

Why do they lock your car if you don't pay for gas?

What gas?

Where do you live?

Is this a joke?

Take a picture of the lock.

Cut that thing off the car, then in 2 weeks when they come by to remove it, tell them someone came and took it off a few days ago.

They make a gas cap for what?

Why would he make a payment to someone, then all of a sudden someone comes and puts a lock on something.

What is that lock stopping him from doing?

I'm guessing they put a locking gas cap on the car so he can't fill it because he didn't make a car payment?

Who is Nicor?

I'd tear that ****** thing off, just drill it out.

Since when do companies drive to your house and put a locking gas cap on your car if you miss a payment.

This is getting weird.

This is only an issue for city slickers... We need the gas to power our home fuel cells, which provides electricity for our hybrid F-bodys. (yea... that's it)

Take a very large adjustable wrench, put it over the valve and turn. If you get enough leverage on the valve, it should brake the pin lock that the gas company put on. When they come by and see the lock gone/destroyed, they won't care and will just go away.

Im pretty sure he is talking about a natural gas line that goes to his house, it powers furnace, water heater, or gas fire place. If you dont pay the bill they shut it off just like they would electric. Maybe he tried breaking it off and created a spark large enough to blow the house up since he hasnt been back on here.
