Exclamation window doesn't work.

i have a 2000 t/a and the window stopped rolling up and down. the window motor works fine still, could the internal gears be steerd off? i took off the panel and everything looks o.k. except one bolt that fell on the floor when i removed the plastic sheet. it was bolted right under where the clock spring is. the window slides up and down good most of the time but ocasionally gets hung up and i have to lower it and raise it again. any ideas?

the bolt was from the right of the two horizontal bolts under the clock spring. they might have been rivets before and been drilled out and replaced with bolts by the previous owner.idk.

When you say the motor works, are you hooking power up to the leads or just pushing the switch on the door?

the motor is still in and hooked up ive just been riding around with no door panel and stuffing the switch panel in the speaker hole in the door. it would be REAL NICE to get it working again, with out breaking the bank.

It sounds like the original owner didnt follow these instructions:

http://shbox.com/page/windowmotor.html

and pulled the whole regulator off. I did that too

You might follow these steps to pull the motor out (you'll need to get some bolts to bolt it on afterward. By pulling it off , you can see if the gears are still ok.
