Default Stuck throttle

2000 T/A Firehawk.

So my throttle stuck wide open Sunday. Wasn't expecting that. A little scary. It's not a NW or FAST. I have a stock un-modded TB.

I had to shut the car off, open the hood, and unstick it manually. It didn't do it again, but when I got home, I put a bunch of oil on the mechanism & played with it a little.

Just thought I'd post to see what other people might have to say about it.

when i cleaned my TB, i took an old toothbrush and sprayed throttle body cleaner (seafoam deep creep) on it and scrubbed the sides, blades, and the bore like blade2222 mentioned. before i cleaned the TB, my throttle pedal felt sticky and now it doesn't.
