3rd Brake Light (98 Z28) Hey guys,
So my 3rd brake light lense is all chipped up top and cracking.
I would like to buy a new one (if they still make them). I've undone the screws before so I know it's not just a lense it's an entire housing that the bulbs/harness's screw into.
I was wondering if anyone could clarify the part number for it. I have the 93-02 Camaro Parts Manual but the picture makes it extremely unclear. I don't want to order the wrong thing.
*I think* the number is 5978421 - LAMP, HIGH MT STOP(INCLS 37-40) and then the torx screws are 11515985 I believe.

yeah thats the right part number, i checked it out on a couple oem part sites and it came up as the one you want. Only problem is the cheapest i found was 184$ on gmpartsdirect. If you want i just replaced my z28 spoiler with an ss spoiler and i still have the old lense assembly. It used but its not cracked or anything and im sure it would clean up nice with a little plastic polish. I have the two screws aswell. Its from my 94 z28 but it should fit your 98. I could send it to you if you want it and dont wanna spend all that money on a new one.
