2002 pontiac grand prix gtp motor tick I currently own a 2002 pontiac grand prix gtp supercharged 3800 v6. i recieved an oil change last week and they put approx. 1/2 quart extra oil in the motor. Six days later with just normal driving i stopped at the dealership to get a new permit (have only owned the car for 28 days and havent gotten plates yet) Anthow didnt notice anything wrong on my way to the dealership. I left the dealership and going down the highway i started to notice a loud knock, Not sure what it is almost sounds like its about to throw a rod or it already has. Had it towed to the shop that did the oil change and they decided to start it in the parking lot to hear it. When they started it i could definitely hear something and it was alot louder. im thinking maybe the rod or wrist pin is shot. Any ideas?
