Friends 99 SS STILL STALLIN... Alright guys. My friends got this 1999 SS 347 stroker.
Symptoms: When engine warms to 210* for a few minutes, it stalls. Then he's lets it cool down to get it runnin again. He tries to keep it goin by holdin the gas to bout 4000 rpm, but engine idle starts to bog bad.
So far we've replaced:
thermastat
maf sensor(four times)
cleaned air filter
flushed antifreeze nd replaced wit dexcool
changed oil to mobil 1 5w-30
replaced o2 sensors
cleaned plugs regapped at .043
Next we're goin to check the fuel filter, and for any loose rockers..
Not sure what exactly to mess wit......... Any ideas guys ? thx
