Question BRAKE, ABS, & TCS Lights comin on! WTF??

Friend says his 2000 WS6 will have the BRAKE, ABS, and TCS lights come on at once on his car. He turns the car off, cranks it back up and lights go off, only to come back on after driving for a short time. Please Help!! Thanks in advance!

That'll happen if you get different sized tires. Otherwise he's got to check the TCS sensors in the rear-end.

I think I also read that the e-brake not being all the way down, or something like that, can cause problems.

He is running 275 40s and 315 35s, but i dont think that is the problem, as I use to run the same sizes on mine and never had this problem. will look into the brake issue tho Thanks!!

Get someone to scan the PCM with a scan tool. It's most likely a wheel sensor, but a scan tool should be able to tell you which one is returning inop.

I have 315/35/17's on m yrear. I get all those lights anytime I'm doing more than 70mph for more than 10 minutes on the highway. They will not go off and reset till I turn it off, then back on. They never come on during city driving, or if I do a high-speed run for just a quicky run.

Mine works great as long as I stay under 70mph, and really when cruising on the highway TCS is really not needed. I'm just glad it works where its really needed, city driving. Where constant acceleration and turns in wet weather take place.

I had this and my problem was the abs module, the big alum. block thing that the brake lines come out of. I found one on Ebay for 35.00, dealer wants hundreds for it.

But it is normal that the lights come on when you use different size tires.

10% difference seems to be about where you'll get
the ABS pissed off.
