A/C blower motor resistor!!

Default A/C blower motor resistor!!

Ok i am having one shipped in since my stupid butt forgot to take out the battery and had the blower motor out!! so guess what happened when i plugged it back in with the a/c on high!! I lost high and max and these 90+ degree days are not helping!! so i had to buy one!! again i did something stupid so i understand the price for being a dumb ***!!

Anyone have any suggestions on how the best way to get to it is? its on my 2000 Trans am!! The dash pad is already busted and i need to get it out to so help there would be great as well!! thanks in advance

Are you also asking how to remove the dash pad? Just take out the side pillars, and it pops right out. New one lays right in, replace pillars no problem. Not sure on the AC motor though... good luck!

You need to remove the dash to get to the blower motor. When you remove the dash its all the way on the right and has a purple and black connector plugged into it... Hope that helps.

It's not the resistors if high isn't working - they are only for the slower speeds. Did you check the fuses? High has it's own relay I do beleive
