Default Throttle sticking/hanging

About a month ago I took my TB off and cleaned it up. Not to dirty but still a little gunk behind the throttle blade. Had the car out last night and noticed the throttle sticking/hanging on me. Like if I was cruising at 40 and would put the clutch in the throttle would stick or stay at 2000rpm. Got on interstate and was going 70 put the clutch in and the rpm's went up and hong there. I would have to hit the gas a little and it would then come down to idle. Pedal not sticking and the throttle moves find when i checked it by hang. Any thoughts please??

I don't think that's the throttlebody blade doing that. I know what you mean. If you've got cruise control on and you push the clutch I think when the revs go up, it is supposed to help you down shift. If it's clean, then its clean. I wouldn't worry about it if its fine when you check it by hand.

Another funny rpm time is after a burnout... the rpms like to stay up for a second or two, then fall.

Its funny my car is doing this too. I checked my AutoTap and its show 2% throttle without my foot on the pedal. If I push down on the throttle it idles down. I think my TB has a weak spring?

I have a FAST 90TB what spring are people talking about. When the car is off I can flip the throttle blade and it moves just fine. No binding at all.. ??

Gas pedal getting hung up on the floormat? This is the only reason I've experienced what you are describing.

Its funny you say that b/c last night I was cleaning the car and noticed my floormat was all jacked up. So it might be something as simple as that. Raining here in the nati so i will have to wait till later this week to see whats up. checking all other things just to be sure. LOL its always something simple most of the time
