Default Hydrocarbon way too high

I tried to go through inspection today and failed hiserably. HC limit is 220 mine maxed the machine out at 4200+, the guy laughed at me. I put cats on it before i went down there and it doesn't look like that helped my HC. What can i do to lower HC? the car is cammed and has been tuned.

Find a shop that'll "make" it pass for a $20 bill.

Hydrocarbons are unburnt fuel. Check your o2s, spark plugs etc. Are your exhaust tips black? Soot all over the back of the car?

Are you getting a lot of blow-by through your PCV now that you have an agressive cam? This could throw the O2 off.
