My DD 97 v6 Firebird recently had a vacuum hose crack and fall of my engine block, I had to wire tie it back on there to get the car to start. The heat here in Texas has really been doing a number on my car. I figured that there maybe some other lesser vacuum leaks on my car and that maybe I should try installing one of those universal silicone hose kits. Does any one have any general tips or info on how to do this. I'm not even sure of the thickness and lengths of the hoses ill need.

I had a small section of pcv hose rip open and I replaced it with 3/8 fuel line.
