Default Brake & Reverse lights on when stepping on brakes?

When I step on the brakes in my WS6, both the reverse and brake lights come on.

I would like to point out that the driver side reverse light bulb is out and I cannot find a replacement bulb that works. I have tried 3057 and 3156 bulbs to no avail. Is the burnt out bulb causing this issue? All help is appreciated.

Do your replacement bulbs keep blowing?

It sounds like your reverse lights are shorted to the brake circuit. That may be why you have both problems.

No, the bulbs never work. The original bulb that burnt out was a 3155 but I can't find any 3155's anywhere. After searching for hours I found that 3156 should work in its place.....but a brand new 3156 doesn't work. Maybe it's the socket?
