It'll be fine. Every time I wash my engine I get over voltage for day. I have to drive around with my headlights on to keep it out of the red zone. It drys overnight or in a couple hours of driving throughout the day.
You most likely got some water into the spark plug wire boots. You could take them off and dry them and add a blob of dielectric grease in each end of the sprak plug wires and put them back on. Grease both ends, the coil boot and the plug boot.
Blinking SES light is "misfires". Its wet plug wires.
Or just wait, it will dry out. But if it got alot in there it could take a couple days to dry.

Washed mine today for the very first time in 2.5 years that I have had the car, been kinda scared to but finally figured what the hell. Used a can of degreaser and a regular garden hose, no pressure washer, just hosed it down good and then when done used my air compressor to dry it off. Started right up, no SES light, let her run in the driveway for about 20 mins, pulled her back into the garage then let my shop fan blow on the engine bay to finish drying, so far so good.

When it was all said and done and good and dry, I used a product called "CD2" which is an engine detail spray, spray it on let it, wipe off excess presto, like detailing your tires.

Man, I would really like to do that but just to nervous to get water where I could cause problems/damage to the engine.
