Default Removing the actual mirror

Im trying to see if I can take off my DS mirror. Not the whole thing, JUST the mirror. Apparently within the last week some dirt daubers built a nest in there and its rained and literally mud has streaked down my door. Looked in there and it was there.

Ive searched and found you can remove the whole assembly but does the mirror just pop off?

I believe there are screws you can get to one each side of the mirror. Turn your mirror each direction as far as possible and I believe you will see them on the inside maybe using a flashlight.

They do just snap on. I've had mine apart a few times, repainting and such. There are 2 wormlike studs on the back of each mirror. Just pull with steady pressure.

Yeh, it takes a little pulling. They do pop off though.
