I didn't use a write up I just figured it out on my own but it is a pain let me warn you. I unbolted the motor mounts and lifted the motor up as high as I possibly could with a jack from under the car, then I placed a section of 4x4 wood in between the clamshells and the frame. It fit perfectly in between the pedestols then I lowered the engine back down til it rested on the wood blocks luckily there was a big enough gap between the k-member and the pan slid out toward the back.
