Default A/C Blower Motor Noise

My A/C blower has started making a horrendous hum/drone when turned on, it gets louder when the speed is turned up so I am 99% sure the blower motor is starting to go out (bearing rubbing maybe? CPU fans do similar noises when their bearings start to go out). My question is how/where do I replace the thing? I can't find anything on it in the Hayne's Manual, and I've never done ANYTHING to the A/C or climate control in any car I've ever owned.

I just replaced mine recently. The humming you are hearing might be caused by some of the plastic blades being broken off and throwing the motor out of balance. Mine sounded like it would rattle the dash apart if I turned it passed 2. The motor is located on the passenger side under the glove box area. You will have to remove the plastic kick guard under the dash. The motor is held in by three small bolts and there's an electrical connector attached to it. It took about 10 minutes to swap it out.

Excellent, that's exactly the kind of easiness I wanted to hear about.

Yeah I plan on taking it off first to see if it is something obvious I can fix w/o spending money (like leaves).

I had already spent the money. I was convinced the blades were broken. Good thing I kept the receipt.

yes, two reasons... one is easy, a peiece of paper from the glove box that caught in there.. the other is an "out of round" cage... in witch case needs a new blower motor.
