do i have the new style rear main seal? i bouth a rear cover and i tcame with a new rear main seal, i read somehwere around here that the new seal only has 1 lip to the outside, this seal seams to be this way aswell, i know the old seal design had 2 lips, one to the inside and the other to the outside.

few observations. old seal had a nasty turn on it when i ran my fingers on it. i think my old mechanic didnt know how to install it. cause since day one of my replacement 3 years ago it leake ont he first day lol. so with this new seal it actually seats a little further back then the older model seal. anyone notice this aswell?
