Horrible smell of gas inside of car i cannot figure it out. When the windows are up the smell for the most part goes away, as soon as i roll the windows down the cabin fills with fuel fumes to the point i cannot drive the car. any idea on what this could be?

Man, I'd trace my fuel lines looking for a leak. (With an extenguisher in one hand)
Turn the key to the on position so the pump primes and the lines are pressurized. If you don't find a leak, start the car and check all the lines around the fuel rails and injectors.
Next check all your evap lines for a loose conection. Does the car drive OK? any check engine lights?
