Default Help - What is this?

I found this small spring while changing my oil. It was inside the oil pan stuck to the magnet on the drain plug. Does anyone know where it might have come from? Car runs great and doesn't have any abmormal noises or clicks. Help please.

There the springs that go around the tops of the valve stems. Time for some head work.

Looks like it might be one of these springs for oil seals:

I'll have to cut open my oil filter to see if I can find any remains of a spring.

the 2nd pic looks like needle bearings, can you put something in the picture with it so we can gauge a size?

You are correct. They are needle bearings from a broken rocker arm.
