Default Shaking and Rattling questions

If im at a stop and the car is on, if i rev it slowly up to 3k plus the whole car shakes and the shifter rattles hardcore. what could this be? its done it for awhile.

maybe something with the flywheel clutch assembly? tranny mount?

if the harmonic balancer is bad it creates a similar effects, check it and see if the rubber looks like it is rotting- or while the car is idling see if it isn't wobbling. also ya check transmission mount

update not the harmonic balancer.
Changed the tranny mount and it rattles WORSE.

When i dropped the tranny and brought the revs up to 3k rpms's and didnt rattle

once again it does it when the car is still and when i rev it. making me think its something from the motor back. its so worse now and i cant stand it...

could it be the clutch/ flywheel?

its tougher to test the motor mounts with a stick, but you can slowly jack the car up by the oil pan, be sure to use a block of wood. if the mounts are good, they'll start pulling thre nose of the car up. it reallt doesnt sound like a motor mount issue.

does itvibrate while driving too?

that sounds like a flywheel issue to me. If you removed it, ran it, and it didnt vibrate that is. But the harmonic balancer shouldnt wobble correct. Doesnt it have pulleys built in?
