Default Water getting into trunk?!?! WTF!!!

Well we just had some heavy rain here in west central Florida, and come to find out I have water in the bottom of my trunk. What could cause this? The rear hatch weather strips are in good shape from what I can tell. I'm at a loss, looking for ideas?
Car is a 99' Trans Am
Thanks in advance!!!

I have the same problem every time there is a "heavy" rain here. I'm not talking just a regular shower, I mean like a storm. It never fails, after a heavy storm the rear hatch carpet area(where the t-top holders are) is soaked and sometimes there is water actually sitting there, like a little puddle. Mine is also a '99, Camaro albeit.

Thanks for the link, but other then a service bulletin that nobody seems to be able to read, I really don't have an answer on how to fix this problem.
Also have a little bit of water on the drivers side floor board.
Does someone have a fix for this issue, and how to perform a fix? I'm sure someone has had this problem before and actually fixed it, so how did you do it?

You might try PM'ing some of the other people who have had the leak and see what they say. I don't recall ever hearing back from anyone who purchased the TSB or did other things to see if their fixes solved the problem.

The driver's side floor board is a different issue. Lots of other posts on those problems as well. (I don't recall the cause of the pooling in the front.)

just a thought, when you close your hatch do you pull from the center or the corner specifically the left. could be you tweaked the hatch just enough to allow some water in.
