Default VATS Problem? Or starter?

When i try to crank the car it acts like the VATS is messed up, i can turn the key but nothing happens. But the security light isnt blinking like it would if it was vats. Yesterday my car wouldn't start, and i replaced all my fuses that had to do with the computer to the starter, and all other ones are fine.

If i hold the key down to crank postion, then 5 sec later it will finally engage the starter. Would i have a badd connecting which i think is it? Where does the wire from the starter go etc.

Thanks

Replace your starter relay with a fan relay to test it.

Common problem. The chips in the key wear out too.

This should be posted elsewhere.
