I was wondering if water pumps are different such as ls2, ls1,ls6 6.0,. Why im asking this is because my water pump wont accept the tstat. The 2 little tabs that hold the stat to the housing wont fit in the water pump. It appears to be stock other then that and the to ports where the heatert core lines go to have allen caps threaded in them. Im not sure if this is some sort of race version or something. Thanks for any help.
