Default knocking from drivers side front end

Well after replacing all 4 tie rods, I am still getting a knocking/rattling noise over bumps from the front end.

The noise can be made a few ways, driving over bumps in the road, pushing down on the front drivers side of the car, or pull/pushing the drivers side front wheel at 3 and 9 o'clock.

I looked under the car while I had someone pull/push the wheel at 3 to 9 o'clock and I saw movement at the inner tie rod boot (again) and heard a knock coming from that area.

Do I need a new steering rack? Is this a sign that it's dying?

Look at your control arm bushings.

Default

Could be the up and lower a-arm ball joints.
