Default Help P0154 SES Code

I recently installed Pacesetter long tube headers, ORY, and magnaflow catback on my 99 firebird formula. I also got my PCM tuned by frost (who did an excellent job BTW). After driving 10 miles with my new setup and tune my SES light came on showing code P0154. According to thelastofthebreed.com this means O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 2 Sensor 1). For the long tube install I had to splice the O2 wires to add extensions for the long tubes. My question is does this mean that there is something wrong with the wiring (loose or not connected wire) or the whole sensor is bad? I did the same on the Bank one sensor and there has not been an error reported. I am hoping it is just a wire so i wont have to drop 80 dollars plus 10 for the extensions. Thanks

Check the spliced wiring first. The PCM is not getting any signal at all from the O2 sensor. The O2 signal is less than 1 volt so any minor added resistance can throw the whole singal off. .1 volts anywhere else means nothing but that's 10% when it comes to O2's.

I will check all wiring and make sure that everything is connected. When i got the wire extensions with my long tubes I made them all the same length and made use of all of the wire. Do you think that the wires could be too long increasing the resistance causing a drop in voltage? Is it ok to drive it even though it is working off of only 1 O2?
