Default Storing a LS motor?

I am currently doing a complete rebuild on a LS1 with all new parts, it is getting clean and honed this week. I will be leaving for Cali mid May for 10 weeks. The motor will be sitting around and wondering what I need to do to keep it good. When I get back it will be going in the car and broke in.

I want to assemble the short block and Put a thick trash bag around it and vacuum seal it. Cause I don't want to leave everything laying around.

-Will it be ok as long as i kept the sleeves/mains lubed with oil or WD-40?

-Will it be ok with fresh bearings and assembly lubricant?

-Should I just leave it apart and build it when I get back? (really don't want too)

Any advice would help.

Thanks,
Damian

Oiling the cyl walls and using a trash bag should be enough. Id use oil instead of WD-40. Assembly lube will be fine on the bearings. 10 weeks is no real sitting span for an engine
