Default AC line filter

I'm in the process of replacing my compressor and noticed there is a small filter in one of the ac lines. Does anyone know where I can get a new one as mine has some metal shavings in it? Part number? Or do you have to order an entire new line that it comes in? Thanks for the help.

P.S. I tried search and it yeilded nothing

If you see metal shavings in your orifice tube, you need to more than replace just that. It's time to have the whole system properly flushed, or the next thing you'll be replacing will be that brand new compressor.

I was going to replace all the parts and have a shop flush and recharge the system for me. Good plan?

metal shavings is from the air compressor. definetly shot. I cant remember witch line it is in, but you will see little crimp marks in the line to indicate where it is, the crimps are to keep it in place without getting sucked in through the rest of the lines. the old will will just pull out and the new one just presses in.

Anybody know the torque for putting the lines back in? I heard they are easy to overtorque when putting everything back together.

Thanks!

Alldata doesn't list any for my '96. Just don't kill it, all it needs is to be tight enough to seal the orings.
