just got done with and lq9 swap. put 500 miles on it to do wide open tune after oil change. tuner took it down the road laid into it for wide open throttle and said everything on the computer looked great but as he coasted down the car died turned out to be the battery. after replacing the battery they cranked it up and after running for a few seconds a light metalic squeling sound came from the passenger side followed by white smoke from around the head gasket. when reving the motor no matalic sound only at idle. any ideas?

sounds like steam from a blown head gasket. I would get that checked ASAP before doing anything else that might cause damage.

Yeah, don't drive it. Get a leakdown check done on that side.
