hesitation after startup
Well, yesterday it rained a lot here. when I was driving home I went through maybe 4 inch high water and my trans am started sputtering some so I got home and let it dry overnight. Today it runs fine, but for like the first 30 seconds after start up it hesitates a lot and barely idles. Then it starts running fine. No check engine light or anything so I'm kind of lost. Any ideas? Battery, starter and alternater are all good

Bump and it seems to only do it if the car is at operating temp when I start it. I cleaned the maf today but no change. It seems like its dumping fuel because my gas mileage is terrible now and when its hesitating if I give it quite a bit of gas it starts popping and it seems it gets through the hesitation quicker

Well I changed the passenger side not too long ago. It's an ls1 with headers, TDs and a tune. I just don't get why the check engine light hasn't come on. If it was an o2 wouldn't it have come on?

Alright, I bought some MAF cleaner today and cleaned the MAF with it. Should work on those too right? And that does make sense since they heat up then they might get past being wet.

Ok, well I have dumps so maybe water went up the tail pipe? I'll try to take those out and clean them. The driverside should probably be replaced anyway so I'll just replace it and try to clean the passenger.

Yea, I just wasn't sure if it keep water out even if the entire exhaust is submerged lol It was running the whole time but pretty low RPM. Hm, I'm not sure. I'll try it and see if it fixes it. It still seems like that would throw a code though. Maybe not
