Took the car out for a drive around the block this afternoon. When I got back I checked the air filter and noticed it was 50% covered in oil. Didn't see any other oil leaking anywhere. Car ran normal when I had it out for a ride. It was getting dark so I headed home and left the camaro at my parents house. Dad called and said he started it up to move it out of the way of his truck and it was making a "loud rapping noise from the left side of the motor".

Car has- LT's, Fast 90/90, cam, pushrods replaced less than 5000 miles ago when we did the cam swap.

Any idea what could be going on? I'm pretty sure these two are connected, and the rapping doesn't sound good. I need to get down and hear the noise myself, but I have no time to do that until this coming weekend so I'm hoping I can get some ideas between now and then.

It's a 99 z28 with 66xxx on the clock.
