Loud *** brakes
Ok, changed the pads a week ago -a bit early because they were LOUD. Now they make a gawdawfulfucking screech every time I touch the brakes. I used the anti-squeal as directed, and made sure to use plenty of it. My rotors are in good shape- this is only the 2nd set of pads to ever touch them, and I normally take it pretty easy on her. WTF? Any suggestions? This **** sounds ******* awful.

What kind of pads did you use? Mine squealed like a bitch when I used cheap Vatozone pads.
Did you cut the rotors? Any time you do pads its always a good idea to cut the rotors. It gives the new pads a nice fresh surface to bed to.
Hardware is another thing, make sure you replace the hardware and that it fits. Thats another Autozone thing. I got their hardware and it rubbed on the rotor I had to grind it down to make it fit.
Check all that and let us know.....

By 'cut' do you mean resurface? I changed the pads in my parking space at my apartment- needless to say my mechanical resources are somewhat limited...
The weird thing is, I pulled the old pads because they were getting noisy and when I got them off, they still had quite a bit of meat left on em.

Definitely check the wear indicator, Half the time the cheap autozone/oreilly pads get tossed around during shipment. Some of the sets I've had were bent with the wear indicator basically sticking out further than the pad.
If you don't bend them back the wear indicator, "dog ear" or metal POS that sticks out will pretty much always contact the rotor. Drives people nuts in traffic when it happens though!

OK, pulled it all apart again, and did a little tweaking on the indicator tabs. The noise isn't gone, but greatly reduced... Pretty sure the rest will smooth itself out as the pads start to conform to the rotors a bit more, thanks everyone for the help!
