Default Longer Starter Bolts?

Ordered a starter from Ebay, one of the stock bolts wasnt long enough. It holds up just fine with 1 but would like to have both in there for good measure, and heard other people had this same problem so wondering if anyone knew what size bolt I would need?

and i wouldnt be starting the car with only 1 bolt in the starter... that is a potential failure. it could kick the starter off line and start eating parts

its in there completley fine, I can't even giggle it the slightest bit with only 1 in, but i'd like some insurance...i'll check with ARP and see what they've got.

Doesn't matter if you can move it or not. One bolt is a bad idea and is just asking for trouble

Default Starter bolts

Go to Autozone and find the "Help" section. They will have the GM style starter bolts in a package. The ones you want are M10x1.5 X 48mm (short bolt) and M10x1.5 X 114mm (Long bolt). Just use your oem long bolt and autozone long bolt. Way less than going to the dealer and ordering one long expensive bolt.

Hope this helps

I will try that out too but those ones on ebay are probably less expensive, but I know the autozone ones would work. I'll get it done monday when i'm off work I shouldnt even need to jack up the car.
