Default AC Selector **** not working

I have been having issues with my AC for a while now and its too damn hot to drive without it. My selector **** doesnt work: it blows on your feet no matter how you turn it. Any suggestions?

You have a vacuum leak. Check at the rear of the intake, you'll find a vacuum hose there going to the A/C controls. May be broken/disconnected.

Yep, most likely a vacuum leak - should be blowing out at feet and windshield vents too. That's the default mode.

I checked the vacuum lines and one was kinked. Must have happened after I put my heads on. Thanks!

This place is GREAT. I have had the same problem with my A/C ever since I installed my LS6 manifold but as I hardly ever use the A/C I didn't worry about it. Well this last week-end it was really hot and humid here in St. Louis and I used the A/C. It blew really cold but just at my feet. I got on LS1 tech and found this thread. I looked at my old manifold and saw the fitting that the vacuum hose hooked up to. I poped the hood and could just barely get my hand to the back of the manifold and sure enough, there was no hose on it. I felt around and found the hose and hooked it up and like magic my A/C now blowes through the vents like it is supposed to.
