Pull out the battery and look at the coolant recovery tank below it. This tank doubles as the battery tray and the plastic ridge (that wegdes the battery against the hold down wedge at the front) is prolly broken. New recovery tank or maybe as an experiment, some JB Weld the broken piece on and see if it holds! I smashed the hold down ridge on the tank when my new battery dropped onto it It wasn't till I heard a persistent clunk in the front and I started looking around that I discovered my problem. Hope this helps.

That's crazy, they would sell that much. I made similar to that less than what they're asking for, all the materials are from LOWES. Aluminum soft strap- bend it to where it hugs the battery, drill the holes, paint it black if you want.

Here is mine.

What more info? Get a strap of aluminum maybe 1 ft or two long, bend it to where it will snug your battery, a couple of 90 degree angles. Drill the holes to where it will mount on the bottom bolt by the battery and at the same time to where it also will mount to your headlight bracket. I went kinda further, I put a couple of foam strips in btwn the battery, the body and the peice of alum. strap itself to firmly secure it.

Did the same thing, just go get some aluminum strip and bend it up. Its easy, looks good, and makes you feel good when teching in at the track.
