smoking between a seats console camaro z28 hi guys
i just bought 1996 camaro z28 manual it has a miss fire all the time but i know i have to change optispark and water pump. ..... today i sow smoking betwen a seats ( console )while i am driving and it has bad smell too . my freind think it is from transmission oil breathing.
what should i check guys?
please guys help me ...........

you should probably take out the console and see if you can duplicate it with a friend watching as you drive. Could also be an electrical fire. Either way you need to get on that ASAP

i toke a console off today and i drove for 10 min i did not c a smoke again i am so confuse but i heard allot of noisy weird sound seems like the transmission broking.....shifting is smooth and the clutch is good
i will post a video tomorrow morning

i toke the car to aamco transmission they fixed for 230$
they told me you have leaking with the transmission piping between the shifters and transmission case
and i think i have to change a transmission mount cuse the transmission has allot of vibration while driving the car especially with the 6th gear
