Default Ignition Issue - Odd Issue. **Resolved**

Car starts are runs fine but if I turn key back a little the car completely dies. Here is the scenario:

I will be driving after the start and hold key slightly turned and then its fine but if I let go it dies right away.

So I hold key slightly on position it works fine.

I cleaned battery and had it and Alt checked and they are fine. No codes - this an ignition switch issue? Security light does not come on.

Default

Sounds like you just have a bad ignition switch. The contacts are probably just worn inside in the normal position.

Default Ignition Issue - Odd Issue. Resolved!

Thanks EDS01SS -

I was thinking the same thing. I spent yesterday doing it and it only took me all day. But after i replaced it the car acted better than ever and even the random sluggishness was gone.

Thanks for the quick reply.
