was gone for the weekend, left my drivers window down and it rained ALOT. doing an insurance claim but i went to start it today and the key turns over, the radio comes, the windows go up and down, all that but i went to start it and i know my battery is dead because it barely cranks over, but the speedo and tach both simultaneously go all the way to the right (like it does when you turn the key over in newer vettes) just curious if this is a sign of any electrical damage?

Sounds like just a dead battery that needs to be recharged or replaced.

I don't think anything was damaged by leaving the window down... at least nothing related to the vehicle starting up.

common issue on 99 cars with bad clusters, a good battery will prevent the guages from acting crazy.
