Default New Window motor? ACI or Dorman?

Going to take the dive and replace the motors both sides, 99TA

Advance has an ACI limited lifetime for $58.99 in stock with "limited lifetime warranty"

I heard to go for the Dorman, but they would have to order, 64.79$ with one year warranty.

So what should I do? I'm hearing the dorman's are the way to go, but why pay more and get less of a warranty?

Dorman...

I don't know why A/Z has it for $60+, I got mine last month for $54, lifetime warranty from A/Z.

Yup, got my Doorman for like $55.00 at A/Z too. Life time warranty.

Only thing with the Doorman I noticed......it is moving up and down slower than my 6 year old Advance Auto window motor is.

It was my first time changing a motor...takes 15 minutes at most. Its cake.

I can take my door panel completely off in 3 minutes flat. Back on...5 minutes. The door panel is a serious cake walk once you've done it just one time.

^ That my friend is impressive. Is it best to leave the window all the way up, half way down or doesn't it matter?

All the way up, wedge a 2x4 in the upper cavity to keep window in place.

Ok, leave the window all the way up and THEN take off the door panel correct?

Hardest part for me was getting the damned window motor gear lined up with the window moon gear, AND keeping it lined up with the bolt holes. Bear paw hands don't work well in those doors.

Luckily for me my window motor quit when my window was full up. When I put my new motor in a couple weeks ago the window stayed up by itself...but I only changed the motor, I didn't take the regulator out. All I did with the regulator was drill out the rivets one-at-a-time and install the better newly designed GM steel/aluminum rivets in each of the 4 holes. So since I did them one-at-a-time the regulator stayed tight and never moved at all. Those rivets cost me like $9.00 for 5 rivets. I have another set of 5 of those rivets, I'm gonna take my passenger panel off and replace those 4 regulator rivets with them to, just to get a jump on it now and save my fiberglass from getting eaten up over time.
